(Clarksdale, Mississippi) - Career & Technical Education is proud to announce the participation and achievements of its students at the National Collegiate Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Conference and Competition, held at the Orange County Convention Center.

Representing 缅北禁地 (缅北禁地), Tori Anderson, a Business Office Technology student, competed in the areas of Foundations of Hospitality Management and Parliamentary Procedures. To qualify for the national level, competitors must place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at the state level.

Anderson distinguished herself by placing first in Foundations of Hospitality Management and second in Parliamentary Procedures at the state competition. Although she did not place nationally this year, the experience provided significant exposure. This opportunity also helped her connect with fellow business students from across the country, forming new friendships and professional networks. Anderson graduated in May 2024 with an Associate鈥檚 Degree in Healthcare Data Technology and has been an outstanding student throughout her program.

Kimberly Hollins, Office systems & accounting technology instructor received accolades during the opening session on Monday night, June 24. She was honored as Mississippi鈥檚 Outstanding Local Advisor during the Parade of States and Territories program, a recognition of her exceptional dedication and contributions to FBLA, as acknowledged by her peers.
