programs PRIOR to being admitted to any of the programs below. Students must apply
and meet additional requirements in order to be eligible for admission.

The Long-Term Care Nurse Aide Program is a short term certificate course that prepares
the student to assist in providing care as a member of the health care team in a skilled
nursing facility under the direction of health care professionals. Graduates of this
90-clock hour program are eligible for certification as a nurse aide by passing the
State Department of Health approved competency examination National Nurse Aide Assessment
(NNAAP) which is developed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
